| About Hedley Doe |
The development of the HD80T is the result of an idea by Robert Doe as an apparatus to facilitate the collection of pollutants whilst being able to respond to the great variety of geographic conditions. This was in the 1990s.
Amongst the problems identified were the handling of equipment for the task of collecting pollutants, the speed of intervention and the safety of personnel. To respond to these and other problems Robert Doe drew from his Agricultural and Civil Engineering experiences to introduce the HD80T. The HD80T is also a very effective water pump for flood relief, most slurries and sludge and in general, “ if it flows, we can pump it “
As development continued an accord was established between Robert Doe and Hedley ( Engineering Services) Ltd to complete the development and market the
HD 80T.
To help with the design the facilities offered by the University of Newcastle, U.K. were used all of which resulted in the manufacture of the HD 80T as shown on our web site. |

The managing Director of Hedley is Mr. Paul Deranaley. Out of this co-operation a new company was formed to develop and market the HD 80T -- HEDLEY-DOE DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. This new company was able to use the quality engineering capabilities of Hedley engineering to produce the HD 80T.
