This new equipment can briefly be described as a :-

“High Speed, Super Selective, Easily Managed, Highly Mobile, Liquid Collector”.

• In operation ‘the collector’ will replace the traditional Skimmers used in Pollution Clear Ups, and also the Static Pumps used in Emergency situations such as Flooding.

• As an attachment to the common construction excavator it provides for fast response and simple handling on sites. No separate power source is required, it utilizes the hydraulic power take-off of the excavator to which it is attached.

• The standard 500 mm wide unit will move over 65 cu metres (14300gallons) an hour utilizing the power of a 2.5 tonne mini excavator.

• The ‘Full Width’ intake provides maximum collection width without additional front adaptors and as no Priming is required the machine can immediately begin to collect and pump the liquid straight to receptacles for further handling, storage or treatment.

• With only a discharge hose to be handled the manpower required in the field is reduced and the main operator is protected from the elements by the cab of the mother machine.
